Very well done

This is very well executed and arranged. I quite enjoyed it.

The only critique I can give is it feels like it needs something more on the low end, possibly a cello or something that won't break the mood.

I like it, and I like your description. If I may make a suggestion? There are some (Free) plugins out there that will simulate a record player, including the hiss and pop / click. I think using that in addition to the equalizer that you have would really play into the effect.

Dude, I don't like rap / hip hop, or the like, but I know SKILL when I hear it. The writing is spot on, the recording is flawless and it is all mixed together fantastically! This is pro quality stuff. You can look at my other reviews, I don't give out 10s very often, especially for a genera I don't particularly like.

I hope you land a record deal if you haven't already. I hear kids running around listening to shit half this good that they paid for, and its sad. Thanks for sharing this.

I save 10s for stuff like this, though I just don't get it.

Its not expressly complex, doesn't have sweeping string instruments or massive chore hailing Armageddon's theme in Latin, but it just grabs me somehow.

I've never really had that 'OMG this song makes me move!' sensation, but this song is impossible to listen to without moving my foot at LEAST. Thanks. I'm glad to see you having the success you are.

[A Short Burst Of Inspiration]

Good composition

The actual writing is great. I like the melody, but the execution doesn't do it justice. It feels like the piano is far too dry and not dynamic at all. I don't know what software you use, but if you just tweaked that, I think you'd have a win.

If the piano was re-worked a bit, and you added some fluff for the transitions, this song would be great. If it was just intended to block out an idea, then bravo and I can't wait to hear a more polished version.

I really don't know what to make of this. The quality of recording, mixing and writing (While I understand the writing was done by Hnilmik) are all quite amazing.

Its too bad stuff like this doesn't get the same attention as flash animations. 6 reviews? Really? Maybe it just hasn't been up long enough. Maybe my 1x5 vote will battle the zero-spamming-monsters and keep this thing up here where it belongs. I'll be looking at more of your stuff, and adding you to my (soon to be infamous) list of VAs.

Had to check out your other submission. This was some funny stuff. It also proves you've got a strong voice. I'm no pro when it comes to mixing music, but I'll bet if your voice where mixed professionally, it would be 'broadcast quality.'

[Random Demonstrations Of Voice]

A few tips

I'm 21 seconds in and can tell you right now you NEED A POP FILTER. They are very cheap. You can even use a sock. The quality otherwise is fine.

As for the presentation, you need to plan ahead. Its 'cool' that you just jumped in on it spontaneously, but you waste a lot of time on a website with a very short attention span.

Sure its your choice how professional you chose to appear, but going over the 'PG13' rating in something like this just makes you look bad (I say this from a producer prospective). Look at any other voice sample from popular VAs and you just won't see it.

You need to write out some skits if that is what it takes. This sample fails to demonstrate ANY acting skill at all. I'm not saying you don't HAVE any, I'm saying that if you do, this doesn't show it off.
