Hello fellow Newgrounians! First, the obligatory redesign response:

Ok, now that we've got that over with, let me explain the title. I'm looking for Orchestral / Classical music composers who are interested in taking on a new project. Here are some important points to consider:

*Music is for a large Skyrim mod, and thus may need to loop or have a feel / style that doesn't wear out quickly

*The theme of the mod is Japanese / Asian Warring States period, so the use of 'Asian' instruments is essential to the mood. This means Taikos (Think Battle Star Galatica) along with traditional western string instruments.

*Composer will be responsible for composing a from-scratch theme for the mod, though we wouldn't mind if it was reminiscent of Skyrim's themes. Even remakes of Skyrim themes and songs using Asian instruments would be considered.

*The mod will be released for free (obviously) but if you create your own themes from scratch, you are free to later sell them under the branding / title of the mod.

*We don't want or need the rights to the music, so long as you give us permission to use it indefinitely, in a non-commercial capacity.

Voice actors:
We will be requiring quite a few VAs in the future to voice NPCs. 'Asian' sounding voices, or accents are not a requirement. I'll post on this in detail at the Voice Actor's Alliance forum when we're ready for VAs, but I'm putting it out there.

Any other artistic skill that could assist the mod will be welcomed, should the artist's work meet the quality standards.

Skyrim: Warring States
SWS is a vast modification set in a lore inspired by the Warring States period of Japanese history. While many of the concepts are inspired by history, this mod is also heavily influenced by Japanese Pop Culture, and how it has portrayed this time in history. In order to better fit the Elder Scrolls universe, this mod will include fantastical elements such as magic, demons and other RPG staples.
