"THIS is what I save my 10s for"
I don't have a count of how many 10s I've given in my nearly 8 years here, but it can't be many.
I got over the 'stick thing' early on, as your camera work, sound mixing, presentation, animation and story telling prowess dwarfs any disappointment I might have in you choosing to use sticks.
This series is absolutely epic, and might just be the BEST work I have seen in FLASH. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

"Impressive work that could lead to something great"
This is one hell of a start, from an artistic standpoint. Your backgrounds are actually painted, not hacked together with vector art, and your characters appear to have a lot of thought put into them, from what I can see.
People complain about Anime all the time, mostly because all they've seen is Pokimon and other 'sell-toy' shows. To such people I say; Go watch Jin-Ra, Akura, CowboyBeebop, Evangelion and Macross Plus, then tell me anime sucks with some conviction. You won't, because if you have any interest in a good story, and a great way to tell it, you'll have been converted.
Back on subject here. I like what I see. I don't see nearly enough serious animation. Hell, I'm the one who practically introduced the idea to newgrounds in 2001, so trust me, I'm looking out for it. Flash can be a great medium for telling stories. Its nearly perfect for animated Manga/comics and Anime, and its easy to use. I very much hope to see you put it to good use to tell your story.
Keep using the music you think fits, and ignoring complaints. Its your vision. Hell, I chose a rare techno song called Dreamers, which caught me a lot of flack, but I still to this day get E-mails asking what it was and where to get it. The people who you want to see your work, will understand your vision.
Don't leave your following in the dark! Put up a blog or something, or blog on Newgrounds to keep us all informed on your progress.
You've got my attention, and vote, and I'm saving that 10 for your actual episodes ^_^

This would easily be a 9, but you compressed the living hell out of the audio! Your animation isn't even 2 MB, bump it up to 64 KBS in stereo, as it is the only audio, and sets the mood for the whole thing! Its a shame otherwise.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review.
Glad you liked it.
I didn't compress the audio at all though.

You've just won the "Best Male VA I've ever heard on Newgounds.com as far as I can remember off the top of my head, but probably so." Award!
FLAWLESS heartfelt delivery, CRYSTAL clear audio recording EVEN WHILE YELLING! I don't know how you do it, but DAMN son, that's some good work.
I'm bookmarking your page for future projects. Thanks for the demo ^_^

Your mic isn't pro, but its very clear, and your skills are great! Maybe its a unfair 10, but I'm a huge FMP fan, and you sound a LOT like Luci Christian, the English voice actor for Kaname Chidori! I'm sure you've heard that before, but wow. I mean, wow.
Author's Response:
aw hey thanks for the comment! actually, i've never heard that before =) but thanks again haha

Fantastic work here. Its not in the range of voice, but more in the miner nuances that give the characters CHARACTER. It doesn't feel forced or faked, and was quite funny at some parts.
You do need a new mic BADLY though. Its a shame to let a $10 peice of equitment hold back talent. The current mic you are using s dull and muddy, and stands out even more when mixed with crisp clear sound FX.
Author's Response:
I recorded this in studio. My friend's the DJ there, so it's not a rockband microphone or anything like that, it's high end equipment. But, I do know what you mean. (I think the problem is my friend is a DJ and not a sound technician. [And, after seeing your own work, I'm that much more grateful for your input on my voice work. Please, let me know if you could use my help in the future])
